India skipper MS Dhoni has called it a day and has retired from Test cricket after the visitors surrendered Border-Gavaskar Trophy to host Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
Australia has already won the first two Tests of the four-match series and the third Test concluded as a draw with host falling only four wickets to record third consecutive win. Batsman Virat Kohli will replace Dhoni for the final Test of the series in Sydney early next month.
